As you know, breakfast is an important meal of the day – to fuel, nourish and prepare our metabolism for the day J
We are all busy women requiring “quick” breakfast ideas for our Weight Loss days….here are a few to inspire you. Three key points to make this happen:
- Prepare the night before – get your ingredients together
- Always start your day with a warm water and half a lemon
- Wake up 15 minutes earlier to have the time to sit down and eat (ignore the world for just 10 minutes to sit and enjoy)
EGGS 'N' GREENS
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 cup sliced mushrooms
2 cups spinach
1 Tbsp chilli sauce
Add half the olive oil to a heated frypan, sauté mushrooms and spinach, and remove to a plate. Add remaining olive oil to the skillet. Crack egg into the pan, and cook sunny-side up. Add egg to vegetables. Drizzle with chilli sauce.
You already know that spinach is a health food rock star—but it will also help cut cravings all day long.
BERRY BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE
1 banana, cut into chunks
1/2 cup almon milk
1/4 cup frozen unsweetened blueberries
1/4 cup frozen unsweetened strawberries
1 tsp peanut butter
1/2 tsp honey
In a blender, combine the banana, milk, blueberries, strawberries, peanut butter, and honey. Process about 1 minute, or until the consistency of a thick milkshake.
1 whole egg plus 1 egg white
2 Tbsp chopped capsicum
2 Tbsp chopped red onion
1 gluten free wrap
2 pinches of cheese, shredded
2 Tbsp chunky salsa
Scramble eggs with capsicum and onion, and fold into tortilla with cheese and salsa.
